DAY 1: RIGA

Arrive in Riga. Have a  private transfer to hotel check-in and have a free afternoon. 

 

DAY 2: RIGA - TIME ON BOARD

Have a breakfast at the hotel and check out.

Enjoy a private walking tour through Riga Old Town (2hrs) seeing remarkable sites like St.Peter's Church with its famous rooster, St.Jacobs Church, Dom Square and Dom Cathedral, home to one of the world's most valuable historic organs. The Powder Tower and city walls will make you feel the breath of the medieval. The guide will tell you about the oldest stone residential dwellings in Riga, the Three Brothers, the Great and Small Guilds, and the fortification wall of Riga with the Swedish Gate the last surviving gate in the wall. The guide will introduce you to the intriguing story of the Cat House and show you Town Hall Square with the beautiful and elegant Blackheads House. The tour will take visitors to Riga Castle founded in 1330, the Parliament, the Monument of Liberty and fantastic Riga`s Opera House.

Continue with the tour of Art Nouveau district. Riga is like a museum of architecture, covering periods from Gothic to Classicism. But the real treasure of the city is the largest and best-preserved collection of Art Nouveau buildings in the world. This fact was corroborated by UNESCO in 1997 and now the central section of Riga is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Riga is sometimes called the "capital" of Art Nouveau thanks to the heritage of 800 buildings of Art Nouveau.
 
In the afternoon transfer to Riga port and check in on board of Tallink ferry, accommodation in chosen cabin category. At 17:30 cruising to Stockholm. Overnight on board of ferry.

 

DAY 3: STOCKHOLM - TIME ON BOARD

Breakfast on board of ferry. At 11:00 arrive in Stockholm port and meeting with local guide. Built on 14 islands, the city blends natural and architectural beauty together with history and modern culture, to provide a memorable experience for visitors.
The private city tour of Stockholm (3hrs) includes City Hall, Gamla Stan - one of the best preserved medieval city centers in the world - Stockholm Cathedral,  the Nobel Museum, and the Vasa Museum, dedicated to the only preserved 17th-century ship in the world and a unique art treasure. Other interesting sights of Stockholm are the Royal Palace, which was built between 1697 – 1754 and is still the official Swedish Royal Residence, the Royal Djurgarden with restaurants, art galleries and Stockholm City Hall – a red brick building hosting the Nobel Prize Banquets and with towers giving visitors a splendid view of Stockholm.

Transfer to Harbor and at 15:00 local time boarding on one of the Silja Serenade or Silja Symphony cruise ships. Overnight on board by enjoying stunning events and entertainment programs on board.

 

DAY 4: TALLINN

Breakfast on board. Arriving in Tallinn. Transfer to the hotel and have a check-in. Have guided Tallinn Old Town tour (2hrs).

Tallinn is the oldest capital in Northern Europe, first put on the map in 1154 by Arab geographer Al-Idrisi. Enjoy a walking tour in the UNESCO heritage listed Tallinn Old Town. During the tour, explore Holy Spirit Church, the 600 years old Gothic Town Hall, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the world`s oldest functioning Pharmacy on Town Hall Square and the 159 meters high Oleveste Church which was the highest structure in the world in the 16th century. Visit Toompea Hill for breathtaking views over the city. Toompea Castle was built in the 13th and 14th centuries and is the seat of Estonia`s parliament.
Overnight in Tallinn.

 

DAY 5: HELSINKI - TIME ON BOARD

After breakfast have a ferry to Helsinki. Arriving in Helsinki port and meeting with the local guide.

The private Helsinki sightseeing tour (2hrs) will take you to the historical center, Senate and Cathedral Square, the Presidential Palace, City Hall, the Parliament building, Finlandia Hall and the Opera House, the Sibelius Monument and the famous Church in the-Rock, Upenski Cathedral and Esplanade Avenue.

Free time for lunch and explore the city on your own. Arriving in Helsinki Harbor and at 17:00 boarding for the ferry to St.Petersburg. Overnight on the board.

 

DAY 6: ST.PETERSBURG

Breakfast on board. Arriving in St.Petersburg. Enjoy the tour to suburbs.

Drive to Pushkin/Tsarskoe Selo (35 km outside Petersburg).
The extravagance of Russia's imperial rulers can be seen at Tsarskoe Selo. The town of Pushkin which surrounds the Tsarskoe Selo estates is St. Petersburg's most charming suburb. Tsarskoe Selo is one of St. Petersburg's must-see attractions, and can easily occupy visitors for a full day. Tsarskoe Selo is surrounded by extensive landscaped gardens with diverse and fascinating decorative architecture. Visit Catherine Palace, the world-famous Amber Room, and the park.

Have a free time for lunch. After lunch drive from Pushkin/Tsarskoe Selo to Peterhof (45 km).

One of St. Petersburg's most famous and popular visitor attractions, the palace and park at Peterhof (also known as Petrodvorets) are often referred to as "the Russian Versaille", although many visitors conclude that the comparison does a disservice to the grandeur and scope of this majestic estate.
The estate was equally popular with Peter's granddaughter, Empress Elizabeth, who ordered the expansion of the Grand Palace and greatly extended the park and the famous system of fountains, including the truly spectacular Grand Cascade.

Overnight in St. Petersburg.

 

DAY 7: ST.PETERSBURG

After breakfast check out and have a tour of the most attractive sights of the St. Petersburg. Its imperial palaces and museums enjoy worldwide fame, while the Neva River and the many canals have deservedly given the city the title “The Venice of the North”. The tour includes a general overview of the city, a visit of Peter and Paul Cathedral and in the afternoon visit to the world-famous Hermitage Art Museum. In the afternoon transfer to the airport and departure.
