Conference in Tallinn
Open Air Museum Rocca al Mare
Discover Estonia’s past just a short, pleasant drive from the Old City The museum holds a fine collection of 17th - 19th century rural architecture from all over the Estonia. The vast, forested park is filled with twelve model farmyards which will give you a quick overview of the life of a typical Estonian farmer family a few centuries ago. Just like in a real village, there is a church, a school, mills, a fire station, fishermen’s net sheds, and a pub named “Kolu Kõrts,” with staff demonstrating how people lived and worked in times past.
On summer Saturdays and Sundays join a merry folk-dance on one of the farmstead stages. You can also buy very fine Estonian handcrafts.
